Ours: Android version 16 and Android security update 1 August 2026, below the Version No. CPH2709_16.0.5.1201(EX01C10P02).

If you do not see this option

  • Looking for "security patch level"? OxygenOS labels it Android security update. Google says the row is under About phone, Android version on most phones; on OnePlus it is About device, Version. Source: Check and update your Android version
  • Is a newer patch waiting? The OxygenOS card at the top of About device said Version up to date on ours; tapping it opened Software update.

If this does not work

  • Patch is months old? Check Software update from the OxygenOS card. Google says most system updates and security patches install automatically. Source: Check and update your Android version
  • Searching Settings for "security patch"? On ours it listed Security and privacy pages first; the Version page is quicker by hand: About device, Version.
