Step by step

Open Display
Open Settings and scroll to Display.

Tap Night Light
Under Colour, at the bottom. Ours said Will never turn on automatically.

Turn on Use Night Light
The page says it tints your screen amber, to make it easier to read in dim light.

Set the Intensity
The slider becomes active once Night Light is on.
If you do not see this option
- Want a quicker switch? Night Light has a moon tile on the second page of Quick Settings on ours; tap it to turn it on.

- Searched for Eye Comfort and found nothing? Nothing OS has no Eye Comfort; search for Night Light instead.

- Want it only at night? Tap Schedule (ours: None) and choose when it turns on.

If this does not work
- Screenshots look normal? The tint isn't captured in screenshots; on ours the screen looked amber but the screenshot did not.
- Screen still too bright at night? Turn on dark theme as well; see the link below.
About this guide
The screenshots are from our Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, the European model A069P, with Nothing OS 4.1 and Android 16 (build FroggerPro-B4.1-260907-1153-EEA, security update 1 September 2026), in Dark theme. Night Light was off on ours; we turned it on for the screenshots and off again. Screenshots don't show the amber tint.
The step 1 screenshot was taken earlier, on build FroggerPro-B4.1-260424-1447-EEA.
