App requirements, support pages and guides like ours often depend on the One UI version, not just the Android version. Both are on one page.
The screenshots are from a Samsung Galaxy A57 5G with One UI 8.5 and Android 16. Other Galaxy phones on One UI 8 use the same menus; on older One UI versions a few names and positions differ.
Step by step

Open About phone
Open Settings, scroll to the very bottom and tap About phone. The top of the page shows the phone's name and model.

Open Software information
Scroll down and tap Software information. One UI version and Android version are at the top; further down are the build number and other details.

Check for an update
Go back to Settings and tap Software update, then the update button. Samsung advises downloading updates over Wi-Fi with enough battery.
Good to know
About phone also shows the serial number, IMEI and phone number. Do not share screenshots of that page without hiding them.
Updates arrive at different times depending on the country and carrier.
In short: Settings, About phone, Software information: One UI version and Android version.
