By Saadat Rafiq · 2 min read · 4 steps · Updated 5 October 2026
On One UI 8.5, Samsung Internet is called Samsung Browser; the app works the same. Its settings are under Settings, Apps, Samsung Browser, and inside the browser the privacy page is now called Personal browsing data, with Delete browsing data at the top.

About this guide
If you cannot find Samsung Internet after the One UI 8.5 update, it has not gone: Samsung renamed it. Older phones on One UI 8.0 still show the old name, according to Sammy Fans.
The screenshots are from a Samsung Galaxy A57 5G with One UI 8.5 and Android 16. Other Galaxy phones on One UI 8 use the same menus; on older One UI versions a few names and positions differ. We only looked at these screens on our phone and changed nothing.
