About this guide

A Galaxy lock screen has two shortcuts at the bottom, the phone on the left and the camera on the right by default. You can swap either for an app you use more, such as the torch or a voice recorder.

The screenshots are from a Samsung Galaxy A57 5G with One UI 8.5 and Android 16. Other Galaxy phones on One UI 8 use the same menus; on older One UI versions a few names and positions differ. We opened the editor and backed out without saving.
