How to turn off Lens Correction on an iPhone camera

Short answer

Open Settings, tap Camera, scroll down to Photo Capture and switch off Lens Correction. The iPhone then no longer adjusts photos taken with the front camera or the Ultra Wide camera. The setting is on by default.

Lens Correction adjusts photos taken with the front camera or the Ultra Wide camera for more natural-looking results, in Apple's words. On the iPhone the note under the switch says it corrects lens distortion on those two cameras. Apple offers the switch on supported models.

The screenshots show iOS 26.5 on an iPhone 17. On older versions the rows have the same names, with a slightly different look.

Step by step

Good to know

To get the correction back, switch Lens Correction on again in the same place.
