Illustration for the quiz: Am I Trans or Non-Binary?

Gender identity is how you feel inside about your gender: a boy or man, a girl or woman, both, neither, or something else. It isn't about the clothes you like or the hobbies you have. Lots of people wonder about their gender at some point, and you don't have to decide anything now[1]. Answer honestly and see which way your feelings lean. Nothing you pick is saved.

Your result

    You might be transgender!

Your answers suggest your gender may be different from the one you were given at birth. Only you can decide what that means and which word fits, if any, and you don't have to do anything right now[1]. Feeling this way is not a mental health disorder[2]. If you want to talk, there are support groups and helplines run for trans and questioning young people[1].

  • 24 to 35 points

You might be non-binary or genderfluid!

Your answers suggest your gender may not fit neatly into "boy" or "girl", or that it shifts. Some people describe this as non-binary or genderfluid; others use no label at all[1][3]. There's no rush to decide, and it's normal for how you describe yourself to change[3].

  • 13 to 23 points

You're still exploring, and that's okay!

Your answers are a mix. Lots of people wonder about their gender and take time to work it out, and some call this questioning[3]. You don't need to have an answer. Talking to someone you trust, or a support line, can help[1].

  • 0 to 12 points

    You're probably cisgender!

Your answers suggest you feel at home with the gender you were given at birth, which is called cisgender. Liking things that aren't "typical" for your gender doesn't change that. If questions come up later, that's normal too[1].
