Galaxy A57 vs Pixel 10a camera: 6 real photos side by side
In our daylight photos the Galaxy A57 was lighter and flatter, with blue-grey leaves, while the Pixel 10a had more contrast, a deeper blue sky and greener foliage. Both saved 12 MP files and both made their 2x photo as a digital zoom.
24 October 2026, Palmengarten, Frankfurt am Main, sunny with clouds, between 14:28 and 15:27. Each scene was shot with all 11 of our test phones within a few minutes, each on the same tripod, each on its default auto camera settings. The main camera at 1x, the roses at 2x. What we see: The Pixel sky is a deeper blue and the water darker; the A57 is brighter and softer in contrast.

What we see: Both keep the sculpture a strong red. The A57 lifts the shadows on the grass; the Pixel keeps them darker.

What we see: The biggest difference: the A57 leaves are blue-grey, the Pixel leaves green, and the Pixel roses lean crimson.

What we see: Both keep the white bench clean. The A57 trees are lighter; the Pixel shadows are deeper.

What we see: Close. The Pixel purples look a little deeper; the A57 frame is a little wider.

What this comparison does not show
- Night, indoor and portrait photos: not shot yet.
- Ultra-wide and telephoto lenses beyond 2x, and video.
- Other light: this is one sunny afternoon. Colours can change in cloud or at dusk.
- Other copies of the same phone: we have one of each.
