Protect PDF
Add a password to a PDF so that only people who know it can open the file.
This tool needs our server. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted, and deleted as soon as the result has been sent back to you. Limit: 25 MB.
How it works
The PDF is encrypted with AES-256, the strongest protection the PDF format offers. The password is used once to encrypt the file and is not stored.
Choose a long password and send it to the recipient separately from the file, for example by phone. If you forget it, the file cannot be opened again by anyone.
