Turn the text of a PDF into an editable Word document (.docx).
Your file stays on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the work happens in your browser, so it also works offline once the page has loaded.
How it works
We read the text on each page and rebuild it as paragraphs and headings in a .docx file you can open in Word, Pages or Google Docs.
Simple documents convert best. Tables and multi-column layouts become plain paragraphs. Scanned PDFs (photos of paper) contain no text, so they can’t be converted yet.
