We have the 12th report on the Android platforms that exist in these moments, all thanks to the publication of the data handled by Google.
Although earlier versions of Nougat and Oreo will lose procentajes, not as large as 0.1% who has lost Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich keeps the percentage, but them is little, because as we mentioned Whatsapp will help this reduction to that in the coming months, we estimate 3 these versions are reduced.
The growth of Nougat and Oreo are going at a pace a little more relaxed than the previous week as we see a growth of version 7.0 of 1.8% 0.1% more than the previous month, the version 7.1.X grows even pace higher to a 1.2% 0.2% more than in the previous month.
The fact most curious what stars version 8.0 (oreo) that has not had any growth over the preceding month but if has appeared the version is 8.1, with 0.2%. This may mean that in the version 8.0 has been transferred to a 0.2 per cent but that has been diminished by that has a 0.2% to the new version
It is one of the data to take into account to observe the evolutions of the versions that currently exist in Android and a good reference when developing applications. To do this we show the graph of the previous month as the current month to see the differences for yourselves:
Below is the table that represents what we have been able to see on the graph in percentages, first of the previous month:
Screens, Densities and Open GL
We see that the size of the normal screen density xhdpi continues to dominate with 38.8% (0.1% more than the previous month) followed by the density hdpi 30.2% who has lost one (0.9%), we see that it is established as a density dominant xhdpi, but we see a growth of the density xxhdpi with a 22.2% (0.4% growth) if there is growth in the other densities, but smaller, the normal screen is still the dominator with 89.8% (a
decrease of 0.3%) in the different densities.
While in the version of Open Gl, the domain is still version 3.0 with a 45.1% (with a decrease of 0.2%) from the version 2.0 with a 37.2% (a growth of 0.2%) and each month down, but with the advent of version 3.1 with a 17.7% that is maintained, that is to say this month alone we have seen an increase from the 2.0 version, something alarming, because it should go down.
|OpenGL ES Version||Distribution|
More or less we have the same scenario as the previous month, although more recent versions are even slower pace, we can see already that Nougat has got to be the second version after two years but are still slow.
This year at CES they introduced some new features, some devices with android nougat, but hopefully at the Mobile Word Congress 2018 announced devices with Android 8.0 so that it will be possible to a quick update or so we hope for the system to Treble that much we talking about.
Let’s hope that the versions of ROMs to version 8.0 will bring enough improvements that are the ones that help to keep the road, we have already read in LineageOs that go by the good way, and throw directly to the version 8.1.
