If you’re a picture addict like me, then you have thousands of pictures stored on various devices. A lot of those pictures come out great, not needing any changes at all. But, some of the pictures, need a little editing here and there. I don’t think anyone likes wasting their time with a complicated photo editing software. That’s why I think you’ll like this picture editor for Mac.
You’re probably going to spend enough time editing the picture by cropping it, resizing it, or even deleting imperfections. So, you’re probably going to want to use a user-friendly photo editing software like Movavi Photo Editor for Mac.
How to Easily Edit Your Pictures on Mac
With Movavi Photo Editor for Mac, you will have the options you need. You will be able to improve your images by either:
- Deleting skin imperfections
- Eliminate unwanted objects
- Apply Filters
- Tweak parameters by using color-coded sliders
- Adding Flip Frames
With this photo editing software, you will be able to add parameters and filters such as Magic Enhance, Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Temperature, Exposure, Lomo, Sepia, Oil Painting, Pixelate, Black & White and Acid.
To start editing your pictures just drag and drop them into the workspace, but even though it supports standard image formats it does not support RAW files.
Movavi also allows you to put one picture’s background onto another by roughly drawing on the subject to be moved. Then, you will need to clip and insert the other background behind.
You will also be able to use basic cropping tools such as Rotate, Flip, Level, and Resize. Any adjustments you make in the picture will be on the whole image. The software would have been better if you were also able to do precise editing instead of doing it on the whole picture.
There is also the option of adding customized text or watermarks onto your picture as well. Want to add some great effects? Adjust the color, size, and transparency of the text. I’m pretty sure you’re going to like what you see.
The text element feature works great with any font you already have on your computer so that one less thing you’ll need to worry about. There is also a work area in the middle so you can see your picture editing progress.
What Movavi Photo Editor Lacks
If you’re looking for a basic photo editing software, then I think you’ll like Movavi Photo Editor. Keep in mind that it doesn’t have a slideshow feature, and you can only work on one picture at a time.
If you need to work on more than one image, you’ll need to upgrade to the Movavi Photo Studio Package. With that, you’ll get Slideshow creator and Photo Batch.
It would have been nice if you didn’t have to upgrade to enjoy essential features, but oh well. You won’t find any sharing options either which may be a bit of a turn off for many since who doesn’t like sharing their creations. right? Even though the interface was easy to use it was too dark for my taste.
If you want to give Movavi Photo Editor a try your Mac will need to meet the following conditions:
