Now and then, we all need to take a screenshot of something. Whether it´s something important or just something, we want to show our friends. That´s why it´s important to know how to take them, but the good news is that they are very easy to do.
Not all methods are going to work on every single device out there; that´s why it´s important to find a guide (like this one) that will show you how to take a quick screenshot on your Android device.
Screenshot Universal Method
The first step to take a screenshot on either our Android device is to make sure that the content we want a screenshot of is visible. It doesn´t matter if it a WhastApp conversation or even a screenshot of you banks activity, on Android, you can take a screenshot of anything.
Once you have the content on your screen, you need to press the Volume Down and start button simultaneously. It´s important that you keep both buttons pressed for a few seconds. Once you hear a snap sound and a screenshot icon like in the image below, you have successfully taken your screenshot.

Just as long as your phone belongs to the Galaxy family, it doesn´t matter if it´s a Note, J5 or an S6 Edge. There is a universal screenshot method for the Galaxy Family and it´s as easy pressing the home and power button at the same time.
There is another method that only the high-end Samsung smartphone´s that involves sliding your hand across your display.
To enable this feature go to Settings>Motion and gestures>select the Palm Swipe to Capture box and go ahead with your screenshot. That´s it!

In the Huawei family, the universal method to take a screenshot would be to press the start button and the volume down button at the same time. If that doesn´t work for you can try opening the notifications panel (sliding your finger from the top part of the display) and then go to the direct access tabs. You are going to see all sorts of options, but tap on the screenshot option and you´re done!

Taking a screenshot on an LG smartphone is different from the other devices mentioned because of where the buttons are located. For example, in an LG G3 or the LG Bello, the power and volume buttons are located on the back of the device.
Besides that, taking a screenshot on an LG device is as easy as pressing the power and volume-down buttons at the same time for a few seconds. In some LG models, users will find an option called Quick Memo.
This option allows users to add things such as text, modify the image taken, or even share the screenshot with others. Users can find this useful feature in the notifications center, in other words, by sliding your finger down from the top of the display.

Last but not least, you have the Sony Xperia devices. To take a screenshot on this model, all you need to do is press the power and volume-down button at the same time.
For Sony devices, the only thing that changes is how the screenshot is taken. You will need to press the power button for a few seconds, and then you will see the power off options, Airplane mode and finally Screenshot. Just tap on screenshot and you now have your image.
How to Take a Screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7
If your phone hasn´t blown up yet, and you need tot ake a screenshot, first you will need to be on the site or image that you want to take a screenshot of. Once that´s done, press the power button and the home button for a few seconds. You will know that you successfully took your screenshot because the screen will briefly flash and you will see the notification on the top of your screen.
What if you need to take a long screenshot? Thanks to the capture mode button that´s possible. You will see this option after you take your first screenshot and then just keep taking screenshots of what you need and they will be stitched together.
With the Note 7, it´s also possible to use your S Pen and the Screen Write app to take a screenshot. Once you have what you want to take a screenshot of pull out your S pen and start the Air Command and select Screen Write. Once the screen flashes you will be on an editing pane where you can write on your screenshot.
By accessing the top toolbar, you can either change the color of the pen, undo or redo the strokes and also enable the eraser. Once you are done, don´t forget to Crop, Share or Save your work.
